Review: Trayvax wallet
I think the time has come for us to put classic leather wallets in the tray and start using something economical. The main reason for this is that we are using “plastic” more and more for paying/purchasing and almost everything.
Best replacement for the classic leather wallets are card wallets, which allows you to save a certain number of credit or loyalty cards. One card wallet that is very unique is made in USA by a company called Trayvax.
In just a few minutes of usage, Trayvax have completely replaced my classic wallet and made a lot of room in my bag. What is certainly interesting are Trayvax’s hidden features which further increases the usage of this product.
The wallet is made of lightweight aluminum which is connected with a cord. What should be pointed out is that the wallet prevents unwanted RFID scanning and meets all the conditions required by the TSA. In short you can take your Trayvax on a plane with you.
The full name of the reviewed model is Original Red Tide and it can hold approximately 10–12 cards. Although it might seem that the cards can easily be pulled out, everything is very tightly held and you need a lot of power to violently pull cards out.
In order to remove card out of the Trayvax wallet all you have to open a velcro seal. Behind velcro seal you can store money or recipes. One thing that your Trayvax can’t store are coins. People can see this as disadvantage but personally I don’t consider this as minus. You can always carry an extra coin pouch.
I have already mentioned how Trayvx has few hidden features that makes this wallet unique. First unique features is a small hook that can be used for opening beer or soda bottles. If you asked me, Trayvax is a great conversation starter when I tell people how I can open bottles with a wallet. One very handy hook.
Other unique features is that you can use Trayvax as handle when carrying plastic bags. All you have to do is hang the plastic bag on the hook and side cut. No more red fingers when you’re carrying plastic bags. The wallet also has three holes for pin keys or carabiner.
Trayvax wallets (for now) can only be purchased through the official website. The price peer-reviewed model is $24.99 dollars. Those who prefer a little more classical wallet will surely like the “Element” model.
In the end I can only say that since I started wearing Trayvax old “fatty” is thing of a past.
Big thanks to amazing people from Trayvax who provide this product.
